Getting to Avignon

By Train

Avignon is served by 2 stations:

The TGV station now locates Avignon 2h40 from Paris , 3h from Roissy Charles de Gaulle and 1h from Lyon thanks to the TGV Méditerranée (30mn from Marseille). Direct Eurostar Avignon-London all year round. Connections to Madrid, Frankfurt, Geneva, Brussels, Amsterdam.

La Virgule is a TER line that connects Avignon-Centre station to Avignon TGV station:

- Frequency: 35 return trips per day – Journey time: 4 minutes.

- “La Virgule” runs on the same platform as the TGVs arriving from the north of France (Paris, etc.): there is no break in load for travellers, transfer comfort.

- Price included in the SNCF ticket possible, or purchase on site of the Avignon TGV/Avignon Center ticket, from €1.60 including tax
